Would hooking up a mic to a whammy pedal and singing while messing with pitch make a good effect at a show ........ or does it cross the line man was not meant to cross?

It sounds bad when it's two octaves up, but one octave sounds pretty cool. Also, the harmonizer and octave downs sound alright. Put a delay on it, too.

..I'm pretty sure the Mars Volta do it sometimes, too.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

Down an octave sounds like Darth Vader, and harmonizing in fourths can make you sound like Microsoft Sam. Pitch shifting up sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Good for a laugh.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?

Set it on divebomb, and hold a long note at the end of a song and drop it really slow. Sounds pretty cool.
