I've no idea why it's not a baritone... the Ibanez one is and is fixed double locking and has a thinner neck, which is why I'd recommend it over the ESP, even though the ESP looks sexier.

The Stef Carpenter sigs are baritones.

so do you not need a long scale neck for the low F# if your string is thick enough? they use a .68 according to the site.
