I posted this before, but I'm revising the post since I was unclear..

These are my effects (I'm addicted to effects...). What do you think? Can someone tell me if I'm blatantly missing something important? I play mostly Metal/Rock..

Boss Tuner, Dunlop Slash Wah, Ernie Ball Volume Jr, MXR phase 90, Boss Flanger, Boss Delay, Boss EQ, Ibanez Tubescreamer turbo, MXR blue box, Boss RC-20XL loop station

Now I'm confused as to where the best place to put all these effects are (in front of the amp, fx loop?). Can someone help? THis is what im doing now.

guitar=>tuner, volume, wah, blue box, overdrive=>amp(send)=>Phaser, flanger, delay, eq, loop station=>amp(receive)

Any good? thanks.
Main setup:

ESP Eclipse
PRS Torero SE
Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster head, 2x12 cab
FX: Crybaby Slash Wah, Ibanez TS9x, Mesa Boogie Throttle Box, Boss TU-2, BF-3, DD-3, PS-6, RC-3, etc.

no your running it pretty good just keep your distortions and wahs in front of the amp and all effects in the loop

you need a whammy pedal in there if yiou're playing metal, but not much help for the fx chain as i don't really like fx...but i remember being told that delay should be the first thing your guitar plugs into except a tuner. i could be wrong about that, but it's what i was told.

What you wrote would probably be the most common way to have them.

There are no rules, only guidelines. Play around and see what you like.

you don't have chorus or reverb

I was told that you could get away with not having chorus if you have a flanger because if you set the flanger at a really discrete setting you can mimic chorus.. I dont really use effects THAT much so I figured I'd just get the flanger.

I actually use my amp's reverb, which is nice! (the Marshall, not Spider).
