Yo, i should hav some money coming in a few weeks so im in the mood for some new equipment. ill hav around £500-600 ish. I really do play all styles of music and i like to think ive got guitars to match that, but can any1 think of a guitar which is in that price range which would give me something that i dont already hav.

Im not wanting to get rid of any of my current guitars as while some of them may be pretty bad i still love the character they hav and the raw tone.

the guitars i hav are

Rickenbacker 650D
Jackson RR5
Jackson DX10D Rhoads w/ EMG 81/85
Jackson Dinky w/ Dimebucker
Epiphone les paul custom
Godin freeway floyd
ESP LTD 207
Squire Tele
Squire Strat
Yamaha RBX (5 string bass)
Peavey (cheap bass)
Seagul acoustic
Taylor 12 string acoustic
Nylon string classical guitar

What sounds am i missing? Im looking for something which will be different than what ive already got and increase the tonal options when i come 2 record songs.
MAIN GUITARS:
PRS Single Cut Trem
Ibanez PGM-301
Rickenbacker 650D
Jackson RR5
Taylor 12 String acoustic
Yamaha RBX 5string bass
MAIN AMP:
Hughes And Kettner Trilogy w/ 4x12 HnK cab

update teh squier strat or tele?

maybe something more "vintage" like a Gibson (epiphone) Firebird or Fender Jaguar?

You have a lot of guitars man, but you still lack a good old Gibson Les Paul.

BTW I'm a Jackson freak. Sell your RR5 and get an RR1.................NOW.
TESTAMENT, SCAR SYMMETRY......SELF EXPLANATORY

ALEX SKOLNICK, PER NILSSON........ADULATION MANDATORY

Gear: JACKSON RR3

Get a semi-hollowbody. Don't bother with an ES unless you really want to.. I highly recommend Ibanez Artcores. Pick one that suits your fancy.

when it comes 2 les pauls, i dont think id ever buy a gibson les paul. if i had the load of money for one then i think i would get a prs single cut, i dont know why but i just love them so much. i was thinking a hollow body or something, but im not sure whats good at that sort of price.

You dont have anything with P-90s in it, right? And your Rick is maybe your only hollowbody? Try an Epi Casino or a PRS SE Soapbar if you can find one.

maybe something rock'a'billy like an Epiphone Flamecat or a semi-Hollow Gretch
Out here you've gotta know where your towel is!

If it were me i would save the money and sell most of them, just play the damn guitar instead buying a new one every few days. But its up to you i guess.

If I was you I'd sell half of the guitars and buy something nice like an ESP, a Gibson, or a MIA Fender, but if you don't want to, check out the Ibanez Artcore series or this one:

A former bandmate of mine has one of those and I can safely say that it kicks major ass. Wonderful sound for anything rock or blues as well as clean stuff, and 3 pickups to fool around with.

EDIT: Just checked my spelling. It was ewww...

Same here.

You don't NEED another guitar. I'd just stick to a few of those, sell the rest. And buy a high-end guitar, like a Gibson, a good Fender Strat, or something that you like.

Are you rich or something?! I recon you've got more than enough guitars to be honest :P I used to have 5 and thought that was too many so got rid of 3 of them. Surely there's another area in your life that would benefit from the money more than your guitar collection, you've got pretty much every style covered!

im not rich, but ive got a dad who lives in the middle east so he gets paid a mint and buys me a new guitar every year almost ha ha.

How about another amp?

H&K are nice, but maybe you'd like something new, like a Fender Princeton or a Randall V2.

sell most of them

Asking someone to sell their guitars is like asking a man to cut off his balls.

...to me at least. I'd never part with any of my guitars.

Corr, if I were you I don't think I'd sell my guitars too soon either. I haven't actually sold any either though. By "got rid of" I meant scrapped them for parts (stole the neck off my Jackson, bridge off another and so on).

Anyway, I think maybe a new amp might be nice for you, or some cool pedals that you want? But you'd get more use out of an amp I bet.

You have a good collection of guitars. If I was in your position I would update one of the Squiers to a real Fender.
Gibson Les Paul Studio
Gibson DC Pro Custom shop
Fender American Stratocaster - Vintage custom
Fender Squier Strat
Fender Standard Telecaster
