I have a Les Paul classic that I was just restringing and I accidentally hit the cogs that hold up the bridge, I was wondering how this is supposed to be set up. Any help is appreciated!

you're gonna have to string it up and set your action afterwards by adjusting the cogs
Out here you've gotta know where your towel is!

Is there a specific height that it's supposed to be or is it personal preference?

its personal prefference and what doesnt buzz.

I've got a Les Paul Studio and I do the same thing too -- it's no big deal and really easy to do , just get the action where you like it and measure it so you can get it back the next time.
