Boss DD-6 maybe? I never used one but i've seen tons of demos online and it seems to do a lotfor the .

I do own the Electro Harmonix #1 Echo though great budget pedal that has a nice natural delay sound.

I'm quite happy with the Boss DD3.
Happy, lost and still unaware.

I gave my brother a hand job. It was weird at first. It was weirder after.

The Marshall Echohead is just as good, and it's about half the price of a Boss DD3. (EDIT: and it has a marvellous chrome finish!)

It's not as good as the DD6 though, because it doesn't have a tap function.
For budget pedals, the Boss digital delays are good. I've also heard good things about the new MXR Carbon Copy, which is analogue, but I haven't played it yet.
if you want a delay w/ tap tempo, then the DD-6 is good. theres also the line 6 echo park. they are both good delay pedals that are close to your price range.
Gibson Special Faded SG with EMG 81 in the bridge
Peavey 6505
Hughes and Kettner 4x12
Maxon OD 808
Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor
Boss DD-6 Digital Delay
Boss Tu-2 Chromatic tuner
Boss Ph-3 Phase Shifter
marshall echohead DOES have tap tempo option, but you gotta buy that footswitch or wutever seperately
