i see some guitar's have like 2 different type's of pickup so you can switch between them and make the guitar sound different, but why do some guitar's come with 2 pickups that are exactly the same? im such a noob sorry lol

Pickups sound different according to where they're placed on the guitar. Pickups placed at the bridge (aka Treble pickups) sound more aggressive, a bit thinner, and usually are much less bassy. Neck pickups (aka Rhythm pickups) are fatter- sounding, bassier, and usually not quite as in- your face. A lot of guitars have a middle pickup as well, which is somewhere in between, tonally.
