I basically need a great amp for my house. right now i play through a roland microcube and while its not bad i want something bigger and better.

in this video MAB plays and thres like a stack of amps behind him... would this be overkill for my basement? i am not looking to spend more then 800 bucks.. whats my best bet?

Wall of stacks would definitely be overkill in your basement. What sort of music do you play?

Maybe something like a Peavey Classic 30 would be good for you then. Nice cleans, good blues and rock tones. Metal isn't really an option unless you boost it though.

Actually, neither of those stacks were plugged in. They were just used as a backdrop. He was actually playing through a Marshall JMP-1 and a Valvestate. Read the description of the video...
