I'm sorry, you probably see threads like this alot. I've never been in this forum before and I have a couple questions.

Just what is oscillatory picking?
What are its advantages?
Are there any instructional videos that I can watch to help me learn it?
Are there any examples of guitar players using it?

Thanks so much. Please dont flame me, I'm just curious

read all of it for a good understanding.
As for players who use it; Shawn Lane and look up his instructional video on youtube to see him doing it upclose.

Also if you've seen these thread why dont you just read them, instead of making more?

i have read them lol, but none of them explained what i needed, most of them were like "am i doing this right?" and stuff like that

and thank you for your post

Here's my suggestion: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=353140&page=122&pp=20&highlight=oscillation

Start reading there, paying particular attention to Freepower's posts. He's essentially the one answering all the questions in that thread. Good luck.
