I say Vox. Altho the Weeping Demon is pretty cool, just to have a wah pedal that big with an individual on/off switch, the Vox is probably better sound-wise.

Well, if you're looking to get a Crybaby and you want a big range in sound I'd go with the Multi-Wah they've got. I got it about 3 months ago and I'm quite happy with it.

Slash wah. It doesnt have that stupid sounding high end when you rock the wah all the way back. Its just amazing. Definatly worth the 169 i paid for it!!!

Well, I have a CryBaby and I love it. Were you going towards a certain model of CryBaby or just the regular, like I have?

How about the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe. I have an original Crybaby and I hate it...

Vox.

You could get a low priced Crybaby and mod it though.

However stock the Vox's are really nice, though I don't know how well the V847 would handle Enter Sandman and Metallica stuff. My V848 does well with gain though and it sounds great for classic rock and Hendrix style stuff.

Vox is the best sounding, Ibanez is the most flexible - and is great fun. Modern Cry Babies are just a heap of **** unless you're prepared to put in a few hours' modding. The Fulltone Clyde, Roger Mayer Vision and Budda Bud-Wah are the best sounding wahs around, but at a serious price.

my wah blew out on me at a show last night

i bought it in february

it was a dunlop crybaby

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20
97 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

I don't really want to do much modding, and I can't afford any signature Crybaby (Slash, Crybaby From Hell) so I guess it's between the Vox and the Ibanez. I like the vox and my amp is a Vox, but I really need the wah to cut through distortion well. So Should I go for the Ibanez or the Vox?
I'm looking for a tab of The Marshall Plan, by Blue Oyster Cult, and of Mario Minor, by Powerglove. If you have one please PM me.

i don't know how the new dunlop crybaby wahs compare to the original italian JEN models, but my JEN crybaby doesn't have stupid high end.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
