So, I wrote a song very uncharacterstic of me. It's sort of a grunge love song. I'm a noob at writing lyrics, this is only my second song, just so you know. But don't let that keep you from critiqueing it honestly.

“Impatient”

<Verse I>

I've taken away my barricade
and I've laid my self bare.

Will I regret what I've already set,
yeah, it.. hurts to care

I finally let my guard down, yeah
I broke my own rules.

And one of me pleads uncertainty
Either way..I may lose

<Chorus>

Oh, I know I'm pitiful,
a fault of mine you must forgive.

But, You see I've been so empty,
I'm afraid to be filled.

<Verse II>

I've played the waiting game before,
and.. I'm still sore.

But I find that none-the-less,
I keep wanting you more.

Lately I can't sleep as well in the,
empty bed of my lonely cell.

And no drink it seems will satisfy,
my thirst for you right now

<Chorus>

I know I'm impatient,
a sin of mine you must forgive.

You see you're so far away,
and I'm dying to live..

Unfortunately, I don't yet. I just wrote it about 10 minutes ago, and It's too late to be picking around on guitar. Hehe.
