I'm hearing a steady *thump thump* from the people above me and I need some porno grooves to play on my bass to give them some background music. Any ideas?

The good thing is, the gain is 100% usable. Now it's about halfway, but even at 10 it sounds great. It's a very unforgiving amp for sloppy playing however, as I'm painfully aware now

My friend got one of those too, they're beastly amps. The cleans are great too, aside from the balls to the walls metal tone. Congrats man.

That prices seems sorta steep though, you find the heads for like $2500ish here.
#24
Nice amp.. but you need to EQ it a bit more. The gain seemed a bit too harsh (buzzy) and the bass is too loose (presence?)

Yeah I haven't had much time to fine-tune it. Also the accoustics in that room are aweful

They cost about € 2500 here, but I didn't want to risk shipping it from the US even if it was a few hunderd euro's cheaper

I find this thread quite funny really..

First off let me say the Uberschall is a great amp, and I know of its capabilities. But the recording really doesnt sound great at all... yet everyone here is talking about how good the recording sounds. If that recording was labelled with Marshall MG you guys would be talking about how it doesnt sound very good.

Again, congrats TS, you got a great amp. You should look into a nice recording rig, so we can get a better idea of how it sounds

I was thinking about saving up for the Uberschall, but it just seems too expensive.

Congrats, though, those are nice amps.

Well . . . yeah, the recording isn't so hot and he said he just got the amp and hasn't fooled with the EQ much . . . but what the amp is capable of:

Glad to see the threadkiller didn't get you, mike.
