when a guitar does not have a tone knob(SV, Demmeliton V) how does the tone act on the guitar. is like if the the knob was fully on or of or in the middle?

the tone is just all the way up, like rusty cooley's signature guitar

what i mean by that is keeping your volume and tone on the guitar and stuff maxed on your amp is what those legends did, not the other way around

Not if you don't plan on using tone. I use it quite a lot on my PRS to take away bite for rhythm, then add it for soloing.

Then for my strat I always have the neck and (custom) bridge rolled off.

It's preference. I love messing with tone. I'd hate not having one. I don't like that my PRS doens't have two.

But you might be fine without one. You actually probably will.
