I'll get a Peavey Valveking 212 next week, looks sweet, however I've heard that it can't really give so much gain. So I want suggestions on some nice pedals that can deliever kinda Metallica and Iron Maiden sounds. Let's keep it at around 150-160€.

Guitar is an Ibanez GRX40.

yep the metal muff is really versatile. the top boost is a nice feature but if you have to high then it just screeches so i keep it at like 9 o'clock. there is a slight hum when its turned on but i only notice it when im not playing and a noise suppressor can fix that really easily.

Sweet, got a ZoomG2 already, I could use that as noise gate I assume.
I'll have to go try one out if the ValveKing hasn't got enough gain for me.
