Hi all,

I am finally making a pedalboard for myself and need a little advice on how to set all this lot up.
i need to get the prefect set up and fit the me-50 into the chain.

BOSS PW-2 POWER DRIVER
BOSS DS-2 TURBO DISTORTION
BOSS MT-2 METALZONE
ELECTRO HARMONIX METAL MUFF WITH TOP BOOST
ELECTRO HARMONIX BIG MUFF Pi
BOSS RV-5 REVERB
BOSS DD-3 DELAY
BOSS BF-3 FLANGER
BOSS CH-1 SUPER CHORUS
BOSS GE-7 GRAPHIC EQUALIZER
BOSS ME-50 (MULTI EFFECTS)
BOSS TU-2 TUNER

a guy i know had a suggestion of having switchable inputs and outputs so i could run the me-50 on its own or the stomp boxes on their own, id rather just have them all in the perfect chain.

also i am in the market for a new amp, im sick to death with my little 10w practice piece of ****. i want something to play with at home as well as take to my mates rehearsel room. i play hard rock, metal, psychedelic, grunge, punk etc.
any suggestions???

Thanks

Paul

why do you need 4 distortion pedals?

and why do you need the multifx if the only thing youre really missing is a wah?

im thinking of selling the multi fx to be honest and buying a digitech whammy,

4 pedals for 4 different types of sound, plus as i said above i am greedy

sell some of the pedals you dont need and buy a new amp. try out an orange. the natural valve distortion will kick the asses of all your distortion pedals.

Add the money from your sold pedals to your budget for a new amp.

For a new amp, it's kinda hard to find something that will cover your metal and psychedelic music, so I'm going to suggest a used JCM800. It will do your hard rock, punk, and grunge well, and could be pushed to get a metal tone and should be able to get a usable psychedelic tone.

Add a good OD to your list though.

I would have to agree on switchable inputs because I don't think the multi will sound all that amazing when you run it with the rest of those pedals, if I'm not mistaken none of them are true bypass and the sheer magnitude of the tone sucking potential it outrageous.

What the hell?

If I put in more than one pedal, I feel the sound quality decreases too much for it to be bearable...
I'm a communist. Really.

i think i will use switchable inputs/outputs to incorporate the me-50.
which order do people think i should put the rest in?
