I got my seven string to play really low deathcore stuff like whitechapel, suicide silence, etc. Before that I was playing in Drop (A#-F-A#-D#-G-C) Bflat or A# however you would like. I like drop Bflat alot more than drop A so is it possible to get my 7 set up for drop b flat or would it be too much tension?

it'll be fine, but you might want to change to a little bit thinner strings

It should be fine tuning sharp like that, just be sensitive with whammy bar abuse if you've got one.

People also tune up for some open tunings, I'd imagine it should be fine.

If your low B string can play the higher notes, why tune it differently?
