Recently I've been moving in the direction of soloing guitar
had a big old search amongst the reasonably priced favourites (ESP, Ibanez etc.)
Come to a head now on Jackson guitars
Its a toss up between a KE3 Kelly, RR3 Rhoads or the DKMG Dinky

Any owners experience appreciated
Also theres the EMG vs. SD
but yeah any advice greatly appreciated

I'd go for the rhoads or the dinky.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
