I have listened to several samples of both and I have used Vox's before and thought they were good. The Vox I'd also have to save up for a little bit of a shorter time, my parents and friends would chip in so yea.The Vox sounds quite good but for thrash metal....which one? I'm using either an Ibanez Iceman ICT700 or a Gibson Les Paul Classic with 81/85 EMG pickups.

*edit* And also I need a garage/gigg amp, which one of these will make sure I'm above my drummer, while I use the Line 6 I already have in my room.Thanks.
