My band just finished a new song that mixes techno music with rock music!

Check it out and tell me what you think! C4C as well!

It's the one at the top, This Girl Is An Addiction.

(Even if you don't like techno music there's a guitar solo in the middle and since we're all guitar players you guys might want to at least check that part out)

Thanks!

I liked it, chord progression was kinda baroque as well. It sounded a little unoriginal, especially the vocals, but you did a good job of mixing the two genres. I thought the guitar solo was a little unneccessary, you could have left tha out.

type as i listen:

good intro, i really like the guitar parts and the overall feel of the riffs.

seems a bit sloppy in some parts?? i dont know why.

not a huge fan of the vocals, but fits well. kinda ripping off of that one rapper by putting those effects on them though, but once again soudns cool!

solo is pretty well, accented the rest of the song well.

i must say the chorus is a little eh, a bit unoriginal as said before, gets away from the vibe of the rest of the song as well by going a bit to happy.

overall good songwriting, and catchy song

i like the little interlude part, fitting with the theme and such pretty cool.
dude, what about an actual solo in death metal instead of that poof from linkin park. Think of Pulse of the Maggots - Bed Of Razors

Thanks guys!

When it comes to the digitalness of the vocals sounding like a rapper, I wasn't going for that at all, I was going for an innerpartysystem kind of sound with it, every techno song uses it, hahhaa, not just t-pain.

But thanks for the crits keep em comin!
