theres probably a thread already about this but....
what are the most important scales i should learn?
#2
the first for most people is the pentatonic scales
these are pretty basic, you will find a tab for that easily
#3
all of them

...but seriously
all of them.

but now i'm super serial:
learn major, harmonic minor, pentatonics, and for the hell of it, the hungarian scale.

The most common and I mean 85% are:

Major
Minor
Knowing which each Major's relative minor is
Harmonic
Melodic

EDIT: Oops, did I forget pentatonic minor

the most important scale is the major scale - everything else refers back to it and if you don't know it you can't actually learn anything else.
