One of my favorites I have written (second to THEM, posted above)

The Messenger:
There's a black bird whispering my sins
I doubt I'll wake in the morning
There's a black bird whispering my sins
I doubt I'll ever wake again

Blinded by my ambitions
I could not see that
the messenger was after me
Although it is probably too late for me
I may as well submit
the messenger is here, can't you see?

There are erased faces calling my name
They tell me never be ashamed
There are erased faces calling my name
And they tell me people are all the same

Blinded by my ambitions
I could not see that
the messenger was after me
Although it is probably too late for me
I may as well submit
the messenger is here, can't you see?

The Messenger is after me
The messenger is after me
the messenger..

Thanks, I have been told to make it longer before so I will...

I think it sounds brilliant with the music...

this has good potential, i love the metaphore of the black bird but like GuitarPierre said it could use a little more body, perhaps more elaboration on the connections between the theme and the bird
keep it up man
