its a spider 3... jk jk dont kill me

its a fender deville 212, and loving it
i also bought an overdrive pedal...the boss sd-1
it sounds nice but its not a tone of gain...no metal amp sound yet...do you think i should buy another sd-1
or should i just get an amp made for metal...either way im willing to go... i needed this amp for my crystal cleans

i would have around 600 for another amp

Look at the radical gear i think it its but they make the tonebode classic distrotion and hot british which is suppost to be really nice. You could also look at the twin tube and use the SD-1 just as a volume boost.

i would get a different amp for a metal sound.. i guess ive just never thought of fenders as metal amps (aside from the metalhead). i would look at Randalls and Riveras
#5
i dont like the sound or any clean amps other than the fender
i played even the road king and thought the cleans were lacking...idk its probably just me
dont get me wrong i love mesa boogie's but they just arent for me
#7
i dont want a mid scooped sound only sound...i want to have the choice where to sett the overall mids...or even a choice with the low mids sepperate from the high mids

A B-52 AT-112 is the only thing I can think of that would suit your needs.

Not for metal. A Mesa F-50 will do better. Add an OD and you have some awesome metal sounds. You might not like Mesas much but try it before you dismiss the idea.

They also have pretty descent cleans.
You shouldn't be disapointed.
But wouldnt a F-30 be better for crankage?

It depends on what style of Metal you are into. Priest, Maiden, etc. no problem. I don't know about the newer stuff. If you are still interested, I can record some clips with DSL-401 and a Metal Master (I know there are much better metal effects pedals, but it is all I have.) I am not a NuMetal kinda guy. Let me know and I'll do my best.

Peace
