A guy that I know for....less than 1 year offered me his JCM900 american made from 1990 or 1991...idk exactly.
He wants 600€...it's 50w and 2x12.
I play mostly Punk rock and those guys have jcm900s
so please suggest cuz I'm really confused.
is it too old or will it be fine?
he says it works perfectyl(I would try it first of course) and hes selling it because he needs better cleans...hes going to buy a Fender.
thanks!

That's a good deal. 600 euros for a 2x12 JCM 900 is a very nice price. However, you're going to have to play the amp yourself to see if you like the sound.

You dont need to worry about old amps. You may have to get new tubes installed if the current tubes are a bit old. But other than that? As long as everything works it wont be too much of a problem. (loads of artists use old amps, they last forever if you take care of it).

American Made? Marshall's an English company.

Also I bought mine for £300. Granted it's not the same model but you can get them cheaper, I'm sure.
