do you guys think i can change humbucker slot to p-90 slot?? its probably achivable w/ wood filler right? (yes i know their are humbucker sized p-90s but they dont sound the same to me). oh and i mean the soapbar not the dogears.

if possible can someone give me dimensions??

It's possible, but it's a pain in the butt, as you'd have to refinish that area, AT LEAST. You might have to refinish the entire guitar, if you aren't good GREAT at matching colors. I've seen some very good luthiers do it, but most people, AFAIK, refinish the whole guitar.

Rather than using wood filler, I would cut out a block of wood (preferably something similar to your guitar's body wood) shape it to that exact hole, and glue it in.

As for dimensions? Use your noggin. Seymour Duncan has the dimensions for their pickups. Stewmac.com has routing templates for P-90 routes.

Anyway, I still suggest just getting normal humbucker sized P-90's. Here's the best ones I've ever heard:

well i am about to refinish that guitar, the whole guitar. thanks alot, iv heard the pig-90s previously but still prefer the originals thanks alot.
