I can't vouch for any, but since you are buying for short term, look at Bugera

yeah i have been but there heads are quite a bit more expensive

TBH those amp are really not much better than the MG or the Spiders. Your not going to find a decent head for any thing less than 500-600 dollars new. Why do you need a half stack? why not a nice combo?? A tube combo will tare those half stacks to shreds volume wise as well as tone.

well i dont really need anything better then an mg seems how my rhythm guitarist is using one for the moment, but i just wanted something loud enough to shut the drummer up but i guess if a tube combo could do that then ill look into them. any suggestions? valveking probly

Yeah a valveking combo would do the trick, much better than the heads you mentioned they can get stinkin loud too.

I've never played the Randall, but the rest of those amps are pretty ****ty. The B-52 LS amps are some of the dullest sounding amps I've ever played.

B-52 AT-100, verey vercital amp, heavy metal tones.

and its not as bad as the guy above me said it is, I've had mine for 4 days and I've herd no dullness.

You should probably read his original post, he was asking about the LS, not the AT.

I would by the Randall. I heard someone play it live with no effects and it blew the other guys Marshall MG100 out of the water. I know its not saying much, but at least its something.

Anything could blow a MG out of the water.
