I recently found a practice amp in my friends garage that got water damaged. It was a Fender Frontman 15G, and the electronics seem to work fine aside from the blown fuse which is the reason why it was just laying around. Anyways, the amp got soaked all over the bottom and started growing mold inside, so i parted it of everything and chucked all the wood aside from the front panel that is connected to the speaker.

I want to build another cabinet but was wondering a few things about the wood used. Does it matter what you build the cab out of? It seems like this thing was made of particle board. I also don't know where to buy a tolex cover for the cab once it's done.
