theres a pawn shop near me with a Roland JC-120
yup that amp
they want $500 for it, and thats a pretty common price but the guys really dont know what they've got nor how to price it.
so i could easily haggle it down, but i dont know how much would be considered a deal and at what point it becomes a form of theft

opinions?

well.. would a form of theft really be something you'd be opposed of?

try to get it below 400

As low as you can possibly go. Say something like: oh, that's worth 300 bucks. But it's kinda scuffed up so how about 275?

Pawn shops are for deals. I got a JC-77 in a local pawn shop for $175. Start low and see where it goes.

We have an 80's JC-120 that my old singer got given to him by his uncle....

I think you could probably get it down to 300 or 350
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.
