I've heard about a pickup mod that uses an 18v instead of a 9v, but im not entirely sure how to do this, or what it will do. What im asking here is how do i do this, and what are the effects of doing so?

This is a particulaly easy mod.

You just add another battery in series with the other one, job done.

(e.g cut either wire from the batter snap, doesnt matter, and solder in a new battery snap in the same direction as the original to complete the circuit.)

This has been explained in detail so many times. Use GOOGLE or the SEARCHBAR.

The mod itself is worth every second of your time, trust me
