Well i found this 1988 $1000 Mexican coin and wanted to know if it would be worth anything to go to the bank and exchange it.

Well I asked my mom seeing as she works at a bank. She said she would have to call around a bit to find out.

1000 mexico dollars is around 27 cents by my calculations

Thats where I looked first but I heard something about it being depreciated do to new coins.

yeah. its probably in pesos and not worth a whole lot. and being made in 1988 has nothing significant that would raise the value. is a 1974 quarter worth more than one made today?
