Paired with a Fender Princeton 65DSP,
Would this pedal give me a good Hardcore/Hardcore Punk/Metal sound,
Similer to the band Champion , or Shipwreck?

Things to know:
  • A new amp is out of the question.
  • I will be gigging with this.
  • If this is not good, i would appreciate it if you suggested another pedal.

Thanks for any help.

no line 6 dist sucks, go with a boss, maybe a ds-2 or mt-2

yea get those...if you like the sound of angry buzzing hornets coming out of your amp.
get a metal muff.

Metal Muff.

I wouldn't have thought that the DS-2 has enough gain for hardcore stuff.

I have a metal muff and really like it.....

It sounds great through a valve amp, but I did try it on a solid state amp and it sounded really thin and fizzy....
