Something between a tele and an LP
I like a nice warm colour, dark red or just a natural finish when it is a dark wood already
Mahogani with a figured redwood top
A fixed bridge, I don't mind if it's a tune-o-matic or something else
2 humbuckers, custom wound by Haussel
one volume and one tone control, with a coil split switch
nickel/silver hardware
0.11 Fender super bullets
Mahogani neck with a snakewood fretboard
I like a nicely thick neck, comfortable for chording
Inlays: I prefer dots, but I don't mind some pretty graphics
The headstocks colour should match the body's colour
twenty two frets, medium

Oh wait! This guitar already exists!

I'm not into the dolphin inlays, but you can order that guitar with other inlays as well, so meh. Only problem is that I don't have 4000€ left to buy such a thing.

This is hard, but I've been dreaming about a LP for a few days so here goes.

Gibson
Les Paul
Ivory
Mahogany
Stop bar
SD Blackouts, EMG 81 (b) / 85 (n), or two EMG passive H4's
2 vol, 2 tone, and if I put the passives on it a boost switch (makes them active)
Black
DR Tite fit 10-56
Mahogany
'60's
Ebony or Maple
MOP Blocks, or maybe something really unique
An Epi style one. Like the Gibson only with the sharp sides cut off? Yeah, that.
On the headstock only
Preferably 24, XJ, 25.5" scale.

It'd be a pretty unique Gibson with it's long scale and Epi headstock (of course it'd still say Gibson!). I was also thinking of making it Grey with black swirls, hard to describe really but it'd look sweet, it'll be a long time before I can afford it all though lol. It'd be easier if Gibson made longer scales standard but I don't think that'll ever happen lol.
