So yeah, what are your favorite death scenes/ways of getting killed from movies?

This isn't mine, but it gave me the idea to make the thread. We were watching Mary Shelleys Frankenstein in class today, and Elizabeth got killed TWICE!!! First, the creature literally ripped her heart out from her chest, and IT WAS STILL BEATING!!!!!! Then, Victor reanimated her with a new body. When she died this time, she broke an oil lamp over her head, and caught aflame. As she ran in the house, she caught other things on fire, and jumped off of a railing onto the floor, where she died. Then the house exploded.

So name yours!!!

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom set the standard with the ripping a heart out of a living body then tossing into a pit of fire.

the car crash in Death Proof was sweet also when the yellow bastard gets his face smashed in followed by getting his balls ripped out by hand in Sin City.

The last five minutes of The Departed.

Fifteen minutes if you want to count Jack Nicholson.

Oh, one of my favorite dramatic deaths is when Maximus finally dies in Gladiator. It's such an awesome scene.

star wars episode one. darth maul cut in half with light saber down the never ending hole

When Johnny Cage kills Goro in Mortal Kombat and he falls into the storm clouds.

And all of the kills in the Blade movies are usually pretty ridiculous.

They're interesting to say the least.

Oh, and am I the only one who actually laughed when the Asian chick jumped in front of the train in Hostel? Yeah, I think I have a sick sense of humor sometimes...

And the standoff in the end of Reservoir Dogs.

although the movies lack some good story and whatnot, the final destination deaths are pretty awesome

Nah, I find those quite annoying actually. I just found it humorous that the dude went through soo much trouble to save her, only for her to jump in front of a train in the end. It was one of those, "haha, that bitch!" moments.

THE BEST MOVIE EVER (American Psycho)

I love those Arnie movies where he says some real cheesy line and kills them.

"Hey sully, remember when I told you I'll kill you last"
"Yeah"
"I lied"

"There are millions of people in the world, and none of those people are an extra. They're all leads in their own stories."

Doh! I forgot Leto was in that movie! That's one of my favorite movies too! I'm ashamed...

^^+1 ...what movie?? Edit: American Psycho...gotcha. The chainsaw from the top of the staircase was awesome too.

Some of my favorites include:

Tony Montana(Pacino) in Scarface

Both Dennis Hopper's and Gary Oldman's death scenes in True Romance. In fact; everybody that dies in that movie does it real well. Probably the best collection of death scenes in any movie.

Let's not forget the guy in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom that brought a sword to a gunfight.
