I've recently started singing, and have developed my own sound which sounds like a mix of Robert Plant, and David Coverdale. I'm not positive if i'm doing it right. I know its not chest singing, because im a baritone, but my head voice can go 4 octaves over my lowest chest note. My head voice is really raspy, but I think I'm singing out of my throat, and don't want to damage my throat. My chest voice is louder, and the head voice is softer but raspier.
I dont really know what I'm talking about, but if any of you sing, could you give me some advice?
