can use my ibanez inf4 on my fernandes monterrey for the bridge pickup? o will it affect the sustainer in the neck position?
the fernandes has an EMG-HZ

As long as you don't mess with the Sustainers wiring then no problem, because the Ibanez pickup will just replace the EMGs wiring, without affecting the Sustainer.

EMG HZ is passive. EMG sucks at passives.

Due to the way they work too high an output can affect the way the sustainer works. But they told me they tried it with many different pickups, so that should not happen.

i was messing around with the pickup last night and re soldered the some wires which were about to rip off and now the pickup sounds MUCH better. but i still wanna try to put in the ibanez just to see how it would sound =P

You'll probably get an improvement with the Infinity. Not a great leap, but noticeable. I'd have a go personally - just remember to make a quick sketch of the stock wiring before you start so if it all goes tits-up, you can undo your mistakes...
