there was a thread about it yesterday. And I reiterate what I said there:

Mariah Carey > Elvis as a singer and a woman.

she has big boobies

therefore 99% of the male population forgive her

the 1% is homosexual

terrible music.

and sales are boosted by morons.

or maybe a bunch of people just like her music? That doesn't necessarily make them morons. although IMO her music is pretty annoying.

i love how she used to have whileome music that was alright, but now she has completely over sexualized herself, destroying the image she set for herself before.

i dunno to me it just kinda makes me mad, and her songs are SOOO damn repetitive

The music may be annoying to some, but there's no denying she is one of THE female voices of the 90s.

Simply because most other female singers of the 90's didn't have ANY voices.

Go away, Britney.

Mariah Carey
Celine Dion
Whitney Houston

The 3 great female vocalists of the 90s. And they deserve all the success they get. Maybe you need counseling for your jealousy?

i know - ive been thinking about a sex change for a while Dr Phil...

any advice, baldy?

she had a few good songs in the 90s. her music now is trash

I'm not a big fan of her music, but she has a great voice. As far as her sucess goes, she obviously is a sucessful artist, that doesn't mean she's the best, simply the one iwth the highest sales.

Elvis sucked anyway. Tom Morello once said of a song with the lyrics "Elvis may be a god to some, but he never meant sh*t to me," he said "I had always though that, but was too afraid to say it." Elvis sucked.

Celine Dion is great too.
