ok im in a hardocre/metalcore/deathcore band. we are in a pickle.
our other guitarist is moving so as of right now we only have me on guitar. but we are gona aidition for the school after prom. they dont know when tryyouts are yet, but we are set on doin this.
i currently have have one full song(just guitar parts) ready to go. we will put bass and drums ond vox to it next practice. idk how long the sets will be for the after prom but im guessing about half an hour or so. around 5 songs, probably.
are there any good songs that would fit our genre that we could cover? we were thinking about forever from as i lay dying, seeing as how we allready know it.
i was also thinking endzeit by heaven shall burn. think those would go over well?

Um..... Prom?
As I lay dying? Heaven shall burn?
Uh..... Unless you have some kind of ridiculous fan base at your school, or your school is all metalheads.... somehow I feel that this wont go over well?

EDIT: Oh... I see its for afterprom...
well.... that doesnt really change anything though...

Oh yeah, and if guitar hero got you into the guitar? you're really playing for the wrong reasons.

there is no wrong reason to play a guitar, except for world enslavement and extermination of certain races, but those guys never make it big anyway.
