I have notice that, for some volume control, the pot's input and out is reverse. What I mean is that, traditionally, you have one end of the pot connected to the Vin, wiper to Vout, and one end of the pot to the ground. However, some seems to connect it with Vin to wiper, Vout to one end (ground is the same). Can someone point me to a page that explain the usage of pot in such way? Most only use the traditional method.
Ibanez SA-120 (ed.2006)
BluesJr 1996-B + cathode follower + texas Heat
Crate CPB150
Homemade 4 x 10 cab Bass closeback
Metal Muff
There is no difference between those two methods, provided that the ground lugs are the same. It's sort of like removing a resistor from a circuit, flipping it around, and reinstalling it.

edit: I dunno where to find a guide...prolly isn't one. They probably just do it like that because they want to.
