So for my english class tomorrow I have to give a demonstration speech. I'm doing mine on how to play reggae music. I thought it would be a cool idea but I need to outline what i'm going to do. I figured i'd start out with a little history on reggae, then move on to basic chords and chucking, then using wah, etc. etc. But I need more stuff because it needs to be 10 minutes long. What else should I put into it? In what order? FYO this speech will be to about 5 guitar players and 20 non guitar players, so I don't want it to be too technical or anything. Thanks in advance

Just know that Reggae came after ska.

Dont just talk about Bob Marley. Please. Every **** knows about Bob Marley.

Don't talk about how to play reggae guitar. It'll bore the class to death. Just briefly explain history, famous musicians, and style that sets reggae apart from other genres. You'll be good.
Peace.

1st wave ska came out of the 50s, a precursor to rocksteady, which then brought about reggae. Two tone ska came back in the 70s and then the 3rd wave revival was in the 80s.
