Yea, Sublime is a great band. You have an Underoath icon, so I think your opinion doesn't matter.

What's the big deal with Gibsons, anyway?
I've heard loads of Gibsons being played before
and they don't sound any more special than
any other guitar.

Paul McCartney.........kinda

Yeah, I'd equate Paul McCartney to Gene Simmons in that respect, but I never, ever want to equate Paul McCartney to Gene Simmons.

Nice one.

John Deacon-Queen

/sarcasm

Uh, lets see here, Dee Dee from the Ramones was a frontman in a sense.

Paul McCartney is sort of the frontman of the beatles on certain songs,Let it Be. I would equate him to Steve Harris but not Gene Simmions.

What? A Frontman for drugs, and glue sniffing? Nice.

Steve Harris to an extent. If it wasn't for him, there would only be about 2 albums lol, so he is a kinda a frontman...

Generalise Mark Hoppus, although he is more of a frontman in (+44), due to Tom wanting to run the band... but he still had connections in Blink.
#29
Marco Hietala of Tarot and Nightwish (tho he's never exactly been a frontman in nightwish...)
#30
Dio when he was in Elf? I'm not sure if he went straight from bass to singing though...

Mark Hoppus- Blink 182

I wouldn't consider him a bassist....

Anyways isn't the frontman of Type o Negative a bassist.
Peter Steele - Type o Negative
To Be is to Do -Socrates-
To Do is to Be -Sartre-
Do be do be do -Sinatra

Get over it. He plays bass does he not? Therefore he's a bassist. End of story. Bass elitism sucks.

And yes, Pete Steele is a bassist.
*coughs* does about as much as Mark Hoppus did too, yet you still consider Peter a bassist?

Henry Vrienten from Doe Maar (a pretty famous Dutch band in the Netherlands and kinda famous in Belgium as well)

Dutch here. Yes Hennie Vrienten Plays bass BUT he played bass in the last years of Doe Maar. Piet dekker was the first bassist who was replaced by Josst belinfante who in his place was replaced by hennie vrienten.

But in a way you are right.

@Dilerium: I'm not talking about elitism. And yes pete might do the same i still consider him a better bassplayer. Why? probably because i like Type O Negative a thousand times more then blink. i just like pete style more.

You're an idiot.
If someone plays bass, they're a bassist, regardless of how **** they are.
We all know Pete Wentz is a bass player, but he's ****.
That list is endless.
