edit- you can see the gk pickup on the guitar so it's definitely one of the roland guitar synths.

It's expensive and requires modding of the guitar. Not something you buy just because Bill Bailey uses it.

He's using a midi guitar synth, the most affordable one is the Roland GR20. It doesn't really class as modding, the midi pickup will just stick to the scratchplate with double sided tape.
