They weren't picking on Canada particularly, they were mainly having a go at the Writer's Strike, I think; which was hilarious. You did get the WGA references, didn't you?

I loved the what what in the butt parody, it was absolutely hilarious, and the mocking of all the Youtube celebrities, when they killed each other, God it was funny.

I thought it was good that they started making internet jokes.

did anyone else notice that its pretty ironic that the writers picked on the writers strike? i'm guessing they didnt support the strike, but it still may be ironic.

that, however, was the funniest thing I've seen on south park since the WoW episode

Not necessarily, 'cause they also do voices and probably produce, so they'll make more money than anyone else on the show (I think, except Comedy Central),

It was alright. I was hoping for more Terence and Philipe though, like the time they had their own episode(did they even fart in this episode?). I found Major Boobage to be the only episode this season to be actually funny.
Plus, Heavy Metal is just a kickass movie in general.

They pick on Canada because it is a relatively neutral country that is near impossible to hate for a valid reason. As a former Canadian, I support this episode.

I believe when they make Canada jokes they're joking about how everyone hates Canada for no particularily good reason.

This was definitely about the writer's strike. The WGA, the fact that they wanted "internet money". The actual writers were complaining that they weren't compensated for internet episodes of shows. This was a great and very well written episode.

Of course, Major Boobage is one of the best SPs of all time!

This season started slow but has picked up a little bit.

I couldn't believe it when they did the parody of "what what in the butt". That had to be one of the funniest things so far in the season. The whole parody of the internet superstars in general was very unexpected to me, but totally hilarious.
