My Chemical Romance is as far as I go.

Honestly, how much farther is there to go? I'm not ripping on their music, but they're rather poppy.

I love pop music.

It's always funny to see someone that thinks Iron Maiden is the height of musical complexity getting down on pop music for being so 'simple'.

1. As if that's a bad thing
2. And not being able to see the 50 years of heritage that pop music has, and everything that comes with that.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

I go as far as Kylie you see

Westlife, Michael Jackson and Savage Garden are pop.

But I'd say The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and suchlike are rock.

And Panic and things are pop-rock or pop-punk.

Keane and Coldplay are bland-rock.

But I suppose cos they're popular they do become pop.

That song is awesome. (Michael Jackson)

To be fair, I think most people like Michael Jackson's older music, just not his paedophilic antics.

I like Fascination by Alphabeat.

I...don't hate pop music. People who hate entire genres are fools.

But for the sake of this thread: Michael Jackson, No Doubt, Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Fiona Apple, Destiny's Child, Natalie Imbruglia, Rihanna.

i don't hate pop there's just not much pop i like. personally i think it's just mostly a commercial gimmick, made to sell, not because the people actually like playing the music. some artists that started off well have gone significantly downhill. Britney Spears' music was good when she started, however now it is more or less getting overdone and tired. there are still people who like it, but i don't. Marylin Manson is the opposite: i hate his old stuff, but now he does some decent stuff.

They're Pop-Rock, I think there is a lot of difference between MCR, and something like Paris Hilton..
