What do you guys think of Chris Cornell as being the new Velvet Revolver frontman? (if they're still gonna call it that)

Um... I highly doubt that. Chris is solo, and I don't think he'd want to be in another group effort.

That being said, Chris's orgasmic voice with Slash's orgasmic guitar and Duff's orgasmic bass would defintely make me think of an orgasm.

No it would be bad. They should get the lead singer from Buckcherry

I like him a lot better solo than in a band.

Besides in Audioslave.

Would be interesting......god knows though.

Furthermore, I like the way this band is starting to sound. Going to their website the songs that they keep looping sound like good rock to me.

I wouldn't really consider Chris Cornell "washed up". He's been actively make new good music, "You know my Name".
#24
I dunno, because in slashs autobio he said that when GNR and Soundgarden were on tour, they were pretty hostile towards each other. Chris started dissing GNR on stage or something I think. But, Chris could have moved on since then.
Ok.

I wish but Chris left Audioslave because he wanted to go solo, therefore it won't work.

I think Vedder is a great singer, but I disagree. I don't think he'll fit.

Plus as long as he's still in Pearl Jam (which I hope is going to be at least 20 years or so) I'll personally kill Slash if they hire him.

What about Justin Hawkins?

Edit:

Will never happen Cornell's ego is to big.

Compared to Axl's and Scott's? I think Chris would be a lot more humble, especially near Slash.

Slash's hat + Justin's Spandex = Clash.

There's only room for one ridiculous outfit in that band.

Apparantly VR tried working with Josh of BuckCherry and it didn't work out.

Ergo: I can't see him joining anytime soon.

No, because it wouldn't fit and it would take him away from Pearl Jam, which we can't have, because they're 10 gazillion times better than VR could ever be.

And no to Cornell, it really wouldn't fit either.
