hey all, i have a 22 fret neck from one guitar, but i really like its feel and would like to put it on a different body that i think i will buy off of ebay, i was wondering about its compatibility on different bodies. how would i know the scale on the other guitars, like is a 22 fret neck only meant for a 24.75 inch scale, or can it go with a 25.5 inch. i would really like an ibanez body so i can install an original floyd rose neck on it.

For it to work you'd have to move the bridge. Unless you can adjust your saddles back 3/4ths of an inch.

If its a warmoth conversion neck then its a 24 3/4. I have one on a strat right now and dont have any problems. The strat was a 25.5 didnt have to move the bridge and dont have any intonation problems.
