It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.

No, you're not gonna break a pedal like that. You can't break a pedal just by running it into something different or wrong.

TS I've heard my friend using his pedal through a stereo. But it sounded like crap.

Ive done it before no smoke or sparks. It just sounds like crap like it does on headphones thru a pedal. I did it for 6 weeks here recently. Went overseas and wasnt going to have an amp. So I just ran from a pedal to a set of MP3 speakers with a subwoofer. Not the greatest but better than nothing. I just used had an adapter cable from headphones to RCA.
