A song about growing paranoid from having bad experiences with love/girls. Any suggestions or comments are very welcome.

Nevermore

Well it's hard to understand
How smooth is all goes
Down the drain
If you were to
Set me free
I'd still remain
The same
In my chain

Well it's hard to see
Why it all goes so
Easily
I hide in my hatch
Into the core
There's always catch
I've been here before

Said I've been here before
My eyes are still soar
Never again
Never no more

It's gotten hard to believe
I'm no longer naive
I've learned that
There's always a card
In the sleeve
I've been through it all
And I still recall
The pain that I felt
In my very first fall

Said I've been here before
My eyes are still soar
Never again
Never no more

Yeah it's hard to understand
I am not in command
This defense I built up
Is turning to sand
To prove myself wrong
I keep going on

There's always a catch (Sick of starting from scratch)
I'm sick of repeating (This heart won't stop beating)
There's always a catch (Sick of starting from scratch)
I'm sick of repeating (This heart won't stop beating)

Well I might be wrong
Too weak to go on

Could I suggest putting a space between Never and More? Just for the sake of the band.

Some lines could be amalgamated into one at times; that first stanza looks a little uncomfortable.

Otherwise, the rhymes are cool and the topic is good. Keep it up.
