Agreed, and they all sound hideous, too. Those are horrible guitars, all around.

My pick (aside from custom works): http://www.seagullguitars.com/productartistmosaicfolk.htm

I'm sorry, but those three guitars you posted are sins against acoustic guitars... in my eyes.

anyways, the Martin HD-35 in my opinion, is the best looking acoustic to me(and therefore, coolest as well). the only thing i would ever change is that i would only want a side fret marker instead of dots on the fretboard. Herringbone binding, a simple rosette, solid three piece east indian rosewood back, white boltaron neck binding, tortoise coloured pickguard. Simple, yet beautiful.

the sound of a HD-35 is absolutely beastly. it's got bass like no other(because it's a martin). it's loud, it's bassy, it's full, it's a martin. nuff said.

Yo guys, remember to keep it civil. People like different things which is all good, but stuff like this:
how old are you?

and this:
It makes it easier to shove their guitars up their asses lol

aren't really necessary. Please try to keep the crap out of the acoustic guitar forum!
Cheers

i really love it!

I always love the plate on their controls. It's aesthetically perfect, in my opinion. Heh, it almost has a steampunk vibe.

They have those at GC, they do sound like crap, I mean come on, look at them, they are a gimmick. The best sounding guitars that I've played would have to be some of the high end Martins, followed by the Taylors, not to say that there are several others that sound fantastic.
I bought this about 10 years ago because I thought it was cool, I still play it every day and it does sound really good.

I don't have a picture of it but I also have a 1964 Gibson J-45 that does sound pretty amazing.

Personally, I can't stand those oddly-compensated saddles. They're incredibly annoying to replace. It's just the repair tech in me, though.

I've played one of those before. Personally, I don't like how it looks, how it plays, how it sounds, or how it feels.

I'll give you this though: The infinity symbol inlay is pretty frikin cool looking.

I have to submit my own harp sympitar... go custom, dream and build that dream... you can have any instrument... then have the music! Great custom builders like Fred Carlson only justify every aspect of an acoustic instrument with their designs and create perpetual wonder for the player.

Can you explain to me where the symp strings are. I see their tuning pegs but that's it.
