i want some humbucker covers to make my guitar ptoject look "friggin sweet". I have my choices norrowed down to a black cover. but there is a plastic one and a metal one. Will they change the sound at all.

Metal is soo much better, in both appearance, and I'm not sure, conductivity?

if you really wanted some sweet looking covers i would have them engraved with something cool and then filled in with white

the covers themselves will not necessarily affect themselves, but if you want to install them correctly they can affect your sound. Check my sig.

If you dont install them correctly then you can get some nasty microphonic feedback
