Hi guys,

I'm looking for a multi-fx pedal. I want to experiment with sound fx and I don't want to buy each effects separatly since it would cost me an arm and a leg..

I have about 200$ CND to spend on that (could be a little more, but not much)

So far, I've read good reviews about those pedals:
Zoom GFX-5
Boss ME-20
Digitech RP250

The effects I'm looking for are (so please focus on those):
Wah
Whammy
Reverb
Delay
Good Distortions and Overdrives

Btw, any other suggestions are welcome.
MY GEARS:
Ibanez S520EX
Fender American Stratocaster
Epiphone Les Paul w/ Killswitch
Fender 12-string Acoustic
Fender Champion300 (to be changed soon to a Tube Amp)
Ibanez TS-9 Overdrive pedal
Boss PW-10 pedal

BOSS ME-20 but I suggest dishing a bit more for Korg Toneworks AX1500G or AX3000G.

I don't want to spend to much since it is more for having fun trying things than willing to go on stage and play gigs

They aren't all that more expensive. I think AX1500G is the same price!

actually, after reading some reviews, the AX1500G seems like a good chose

I bought a Korg AX5G - got mine for $39 when Musician's Friend sold em out - Ebay now as they're discontinued

I liked it more than my Zoom G2 (I sold it as it didn't do what this baby does) works great with my tube amps and SS too.
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!

I would have to say go save up enough money for a pod xt live or something or a boss Gt-8. But I would suggest if you don't have the money for that right now. I would get the Boss me-20. Go watch some youtube clips of each multi effect pedal. Thats what I do.

ax3000g is amazing.
but...
if you are planning on playing live, avod multi effects at all costs.

Digitech RP350, the RP series is very nice.

Have you played thru one yet ugmund?

I thought you said the youtube vids of it sound crappy. Maybe you have a kickass sound card and speakers because the vids sounded fine to me. Agreed, I wouldn't use it for metal necessarily but the MTLHEAD preset gets me by.

I use mine mainly for Chorus Delay, Phaser and the HENDRIX preset with Wah pedal.

I like mine, but I'm sure there is better stuff out these days.

i own the digitech rp350 and it is VERY NICE.

some of the tones that come with it are a bit too digital sounding BUT you can customize each tone from the factory settings without losing the original.

it's a great buy i'd say. try it out and see if you like it.

yeah, i actually played one, what was it... friday? idk. but yeah, it does have pretty bad high gain distortion models from what i said but the cleans and everything else was pretty amazing. i didnt really spend much time messing with it, and thats probably why i didnt get quite the sound i wanted out of it.

Boss gets my vote, my friend had various Digitech RP's and they didn't impress me as much as the ME-20. Even he said he was going to stick with Boss after hearing it ( He was all about Digitech)

so, the Boss ME-20 seems like the best choice in that price range?

Any other suggestion or opinion?
