So yeah, since I'll have a second guitar soon I thought id mess with my old Epi Lp-100 and try my hand with guitar modding in the near future.
Im planning on something like this...

Neck: SD SH-2 Jazz Model
Bridge: SD SH-4

In other words I chose this set. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Seymour-Duncan-Hot-Rodded-Humbucker-Set-?sku=300030
Hahah!

It fits my "all around sound" kinda thing and what Im looking to get out of it is versatility...
Sound good? Or are there cheaper sets with better tone I should know about?

Helpful opinions would be appreciated!

You can go to SD site and they can help you figure out the best pups for your style of music. But wont take much of a pickup to be better than the stock epis in a 100. I have the same one I know. But dont go to cheap on pickups. Good ones cost money.
